Will Voyager 1 leave the Milky Way?

 Voyager 1 is not expected to leave the Milky Way. It is currently traveling through interstellar space, but the vast distances between stars make it unlikely for Voyager 1 to exit our galaxy.




Voyager 1, a spacecraft launched by NASA in 1977, embarked on a historic journey to explore the outer reaches of our solar system. After providing valuable data about the gas giants Jupiter and Saturn, Voyager 1 continued its trajectory beyond the influence of the Sun.
